Anthony smiled very briefly. "Call it a gift," he said, without a trace of irony, writing down the address and passing it to Jamie. "Although next time you call, I sincerely hope no one else is missing."
"You and me both," Jamie said, hugging him before heading to Roxanna's room. He grabbed her favorite hoodie and took it with him as headed out to the car. He was so sick and tired of people he loved being treated like toys, just because of who one of their parents were. It wasn't fair.
