"Did your mutt do it?" Greed asked just as Zoe whisked past him and back into the room. Jonah was being weird and Greed didn't like it. Something, fuck this feeling! Greed followed Zoe who was about to have some kind of breakdown over clothes. He knew that feeling though, all a little too well. His hands caressed her head down to her shoulders where they rested because she wasn't looking at him. It was when he found something he'd given her that he went a little apeshit. "Oh fuck no! Who the hell has been in here?" _____________________________________ She tensed and shoved him away from the drawer, "Are you serious? You're only flipping out because something YOU gave me got cut up?" she held up the shiny remains of the skirt he'd got her. She threw it back in the drawer and picked up the remains of a vintage dress as she said quietly, "This was my mom's.." she put a hand to her head, not understanding any of this. _____________________________________ "I paid good money for that! You haven't even worn it yet!" Of course he was pissed. That was his stash of goodies that someone had just ripped into. What were they thinking. But then she got even more weepy and sad sounding. He thought her voice might just crack in two. He immediately went over to the window looking out to see if anything was sitting out on that fire escape that hadn't been him, but he still couldn't pick up any kind of scent on something. It did look like something Lust would do, but that was insane. Lust didn't know a thing about Zoe anymore, as far as she was concerned he was out having an orgy with a group of girls every night. Besides she was too busy playing with the dicks of Saints.
He slammed the window down and locked it. He'd have to use the front door from now on. _____________________________________ She shot back, "I'll give you the money for it!" she didn't care about how much it cost, to her it was a deeper pain. "Get out of your head and think about this. Think about your apartment. Your closet. And the imagine seeing everything in it shred to ribbons....." he never understood until she made him step into her shoes so that's what she was trying to do now. _____________________________________ Greed didn't like his little plastic bubble poked. Someone had just sucked the air right out and Zoe was flailing as he tried to patch up the hole. The problem was the air had already escaped and it was just a torn bubble. "Why are you yelling at me?----oh," it dawned on him that this was like Lucy burning his shit up in a cloud of black smoke and fire. _____________________________________ She wiped her nose with the back of her hand looked back at the glorified rags in the drawer, "Yes. Oh." since it seemed like he finally got it. He of all people understood that it wasn't just 'stuff', when it was your stuff, it was your treasure. It was someone invading your home, and wrecking your things. _____________________________________ "Who followed you home?" But she hadn't been home all that long. Just a week since they returned from the beach. They'd been there more nights than not so what the hell had happened between then and now? "Who's following Jonah home? Maybe they think your'e his girlfriend and they're jealous." He was cracking jokes but he really didn't know how on mark he actually was. _____________________________________ She glared at him and shook her head, muttering, "I can't believe you..." she looked around the room for a garbage bag and said, "You'd think you'd be more concerned that some nutcase was in your girlfriend's room. What if it was some homeless whackjob off the street? What if I had been home last night instead of at your place and I'd have been here so he could have cut me up instead of my clothes?" she rammed a handful of the debris into the bag. _____________________________________ "I am which is why you aren't staying here for a while." He started pulling out things from her closet that hadn't been ripped. "That's why Jonah is going to deal with his stalker." He was worried, he was just going to freak out when they were out of this place.
