With winter, came the shift. She wasn't like Kore, too much of the Underground in Hecate, but she was occasionally different. More cthonic during the long days of winter. Her customers noticed, as did everyone else. She spared the Lowsley's the worst of it, feeling fond of her adoptive granddaughters. Plus it made Hermes smile and she liked doing that.
She was winding magic around charms, humming under her breath, when she felt Hypnos enter. She noticed the mortal and set the charm down with a smile. "Hello to you both." She kneeled down and held out her hands for her dogs, smiling as they sniffed at her fingers. Then she looked up at Hypnos. "Collecting strays now as well?" She grinned as she petted the dogs, looking at the girl. "And where did he find you? Welcome to my shop, by the way. Look around if you like, but if you break it you buy it."
