Hippolyta waited for Kat to sit before she herself did as well - the action much more like a guardian than a queen. She had made a vow of protection to Victor though, and he deserved to be happy - even if it wasn't with her. (She wanted so badly for it to be with her, even now, but that chance was long gone.)
As Hippolyta sat she asked, "how far are you along? I remember when I was pregnant and that rush of hormones making every emotion so unpredictable and intense. Not that we knew it was 'hormones' back then."
