Maybe because it was near Christmas, but the incessant joy and songs were driving her up a wall. All this forced cheer was sickening, which probably made her a grinch. But unlike such a creature, she wouldn't give up just for any reason. But as she was fairly tired of the parties where everyone congratulated themselves on being decent human beings she'd gone to her brother's office. Arthur wouldn't mind.
She'd dressed in the color of the season, red, and she knew it made her look good. Also dangerous. She imagined, somewhere, Merlin was frowning and cursing her name. Silly wizard, really. He wasn't even playing the game. Arthur had been out when she'd arrived so she'd parked herself in his seat while she waited. In the meantime, she snooped. She doubted he'd leave anything sensitive around now she was more active in his life, but one never knew.
