"I hardly doubt you're going to have a problem with your ego," Emma tutted before helping William with more of the tea. "You're too smart for that." When Maddy told Joss having him around made her happy, she beamed at him and he blushed in response.
"Hee, I'm glad. And you make awesome cakes," Joss exclaimed. "I think sometimes I'd prefer to make delicious things than just be really hyper obsessive compulsive about things, but we all have our gifts!"
"Very true," William nodded. "I'm a very good chess player, though I can't move the pieces myself any more."
Joss lit up at that. "Have you every played Tri-D chess from Star Trek? I could teach you!"
William was actually barely able to hide the fact that he was excited by the prospect of doing something different even while being mostly housebound. "Really? I've never played it, though I've watched plenty of Trek. Always wanted to."
"Of course I could! It's pretty easy and I could move your pieces for you."
