He frowned a little and opened his eyes. Relaxed like this, they were more reptilian then human. It was half a miracle he hadn't slipped into his snake shape yet. But he couldn't talk well like that. "I like you personable. You always smiled so nice when you were young. You don't smile a lot anymore."
"But if you think it's your duty I can't stop you. I'd like you to stay with us. I know its confusing here, and you don't like confusing, but it's also nice. Better then the ocean, and at least I had whales to talk to. I don't believe the dead say much." He settled his head on hers. "I think you are hiding because you get confused.
