"It's not the best, no," Lyra smiled at him. Then, when he spoke of Little, she cast a glance towards the door of the room where she sleep and shook her head a little. "I'm happy to not see my own future illnesses looming before me. I can't even imagine what it's like for her and her family."
Lyra brightened at the mention of Hades' job offers. He was so lovely and giving, that man. (The story of Persephone wasn't far from her mind, but Persephone was the queen of the dead now so it wasn't as though it hadn't worked out well. Besides, Ancient Greek did a lot of kidnapping. It was just something that happened. Lyra was happy to live with her own Godly boyfriend in a non-kidnapped fashion.) "Is a happy Hades something to worry about?" she asked Thanatos, watching him now.
"A Halloween party with physical drug gods," Lyra said, trying to decide if the idea was too weird. But, no, it was just as weird as everything else that had come into her life. So she smiled and slipped her arms up around Thanatos' neck, pressing softly against him. "I might leave that to you. Try not to fall in love with any beautiful opiates while you're there."
