"That's the point he hurt you." Dionysus had never gotten to lash out with that anger even if it had come before him. He tried to reach for her but it seemed she'd have known of it, her body language was like a brick wall. He was taking the defense and not listening to reason---and at the same time wanted to please her---but this was something he had a hard time gripping. He was as much his father's son as Theseus was Poseidon's. Hera had infused Dionysus early on with that kind of mental madness, he wasn't thinking with logic.
