He waved her off after the water. "I'll be fine. I've taken harder hits than this," and by that he meant Poseidon's wrath. Between him and mixing with the Sins his brain was starting to just leak out into slush. He took the water though and drank it down a lot slower than he had the wine.
He laughed at first because the consensus on what Theseus was was pretty split down the middle. Some believed him a hero others a coward, he was pretty much leaning towards coward through his first life. The second wasn't that much better, until now. "Dionysus is loyal to you. I'm only loyal to myself." He could admit that much. He never had beef with Dionysus, but he knew after the stunts Theseus had pulled the wine god would always bear that grudge. "But..." the wine was loosening him up and he was digging out some things he didn't really talk about without sarcasm. "I've become a pawn for my own father, in doing so I messed up. Real bad." He didn't feel good about it, even moreso he didn't feel good about feeling so bad. "I have a granddaughter. Mortal girl," there was a tiny smile at one corner of his mouth. "She sees the good in things, maybe even in me." He hadn't mentioned what Poseidon had done, but the look on his face suggested that it wasn't good. He rested his chin back on his arms, something in that wine had him calm.
