Apollo had initially decided to work in a hospital as a way to lay low. After a while, he'd grown to like nursing. The emergency room always threw something new at him, which was a hard thing to do after being alive for as long as he'd been.
It wasn't often that he noticed another immortal at the hospital, but if he could guess at who he might run into here, it would be Aesculapius. They didn't look at all like father and son (at least not in the way they were supposed to), but the way Apollo clapped him on the shoulder when he was close enough practically screamed awkward dad.
"It's good to see you," Apollo said, smiling. "It's been a long time."
