WHO: Thomas Kemp, Lena Rainmayr and open to any Kemps who would have gone home with them
WHAT: GOING HOME!
WHEN: Thursday morning
WHERE: Kemp apartment
It was music to his ears being told he was finally being discharged from the hospital. He hadn't been there since before his European vacation had ended in disaster. He had been kept a few extra days because of the terrible headaches he suffered, but they had died down a little bit and he was released.
It took two people to help him from the car and into the elevator, where Thomas leaned heavily against the wall. Once at their floor, he was helped into his apartment. He could walk, though he was feeling terribly dizzy and still a little nauseated. He made his way over to his sofa where he sat down with a happy sigh. "My home!" he said happily.
"I'll get you some tea," Lena said, leaning over to plant a kiss on top of his still-bandaged head. "It's really nice to have you here."
"Oh god, I'm so happy I might cry," he admitted. He just wanted to curl up and never leave.
