He straightened up suddenly, but the snarl didn't leave his lips. His tone turned more biting than furious, quieter but more cutting. "How exactly is directly disobeying me standing up for me? I took you in and supported you when others threw you out. When your society friends stopped talking to you, I was here. And this is how you repay me?"
