Who: Piper Addison & Lewis Carroll What: Recuperating When: Saturday night Where: Their place Warnings: Fluff? Probably not a lot.
Piper had been out of the hospital for a few days now, spending most of her time in her pajamas, either reading, or sleeping, or on her laptop. She'd lost a lot a blood, and her doctors didn't want her to overexert herself. But she'd always been a terrible patient. Even when she'd been home sick from school as a child, by 1 in the afternoon she was up and around, looking for something to do that wasn't just lying in bed all day.
She'd drank her way through a box of tea and had opened the second tonight, because the ritual of preparing it was familiar, and drinking it made her feel a bit more peaceful. She hadn't set foot outside the apartment since they'd released her, the idea scared the living daylights out of her. Charles had said he'd mind the shop while she recovered, but what about once she was physically better? Hard to go to work if she couldn't make herself leave.
She heard the door open and came out of her room. "Charles?" she called. "You home?"
