When he walked to the hotel, Hades realized this was the first summer he was truly happy in. He was picking up on Persephone's habits and learning who she was during this season. He had to endure sunlight, but it was a minor inconvenience.
His happiness was also there, in part because of the new baby. He'd never had the opportunity to see his daughters become part of this world, and thus leapt on every opportunity to be involved now. So far he'd kept the news to his girls and Charon, and was busy making sure a room in the house was prepared.
