Anne had managed to actually get out of the office for lunch at a decent time today which she was grateful for. If she was to know what was ahead she wouldn't have been so happy though. It had been relatively quiet at work - just finishing up paperwork on some of the cases she was working on. She didn't mind that sort of work though sometimes she did just get bored with the repetitiveness of it all but all in all she knew the job was for the good of the people, the country, the state - whatever she was dealing with at the time.
She had been wondering the park with the lunch that she had bought. Unfortunately she didn't notice the person on the bench she was heading to until it was too late. She started to back away hoping he wouldn't notice her. Of all the people here in New York he was the one she hated the most. What he did to her had changed her in so many ways and had left her unable to trust anyone for such a long time, even now she had trouble trusting men. Richard had helped but she still wasn't able trust many and give them a lot of trust either.
