Who: Ligea, Hades, and Jesse Delacroix
What: Jesse gets ensnared by one Greek, then rescued by another (AKA, GoT crack)
When: Tuesday afternoon
Where: Somewhere in Manhattan
Ligea could feel it. The need to go down to the water, to lure in men and watch them fall. She needed it like a smoker needed their next cigarette. She pulled on a jacket and shades and left Demeter's home, prowling the streets of New York, looking for a victim.
She finally found one, a young mortal with dark eyes and darker hair. He was leaning against his motorcycle, eating a giant pretzel and looking as though he didn't have a care in the world. He smiled as she approached, and she couldn't help a slight smile of her own. This one had charm, sure, but it was the real thing. It'd almost be a shame to kill him. Almost.
"Afternoon, miss," he said, all soft drawl and bright smile. "And what can I do for you on this lovely day?"
Ligea tossed her hair over her shoulder. "Nice bike," she said, walking in a circle and peering at it. "You ride a lot?"
Jesse nodded. "Ride 'em, fix 'em, the whole nine yards. Since I was about 16."
She finished her circuit of the bike and came back to stand in front of him, one hip cocked and one hand on her hip. The stance had the added benefit of pulling her dress slightly tighter around her, and she could tell that hadn't gone unnoticed.
Gotcha.
She opened her mouth and started to sing softly, just for him. His attention snapped to her like a hound on the scent, and her smile widened even as she continued to sing. He was good and hers now.
"Let's go for a spin," she suggested, and he nodded, digging in his sidecar for a spare helmet.
