WHO: Persephone and Hades WHAT: NEWS. WHEN: Wednesday afternoon WHERE: A park and then TBA WARNINGS: TBA also
Persephone hadn't even thought about the idea of something like this ever happening. Not now, at least. She lived with Hades every winter as man and wife, and nothing ever came of it. And now they had been together for one night during the spring and there it was.
She was pregnant.
It wasn't hard to recognise the signs, though at first she believed she must have been jumping to incorrect conclusions. It became hard to ignore soon enough, and she had taken a test. When that was positive, she had her suspicions confirmed by an OBGYN and then all that was left was to tell Hades he was going to be a father.
It would help if she wasn't terrified he might kill their baby just by being around her.
She had gathered her courage and asked to meet him in a public place during the day, even though she knew the sunlight hurt his eyes. She was feeling too protective to be alone with him, at least at first. When she caught sight of him she went to greet him, though she hung back a little to offer him a weak smile. "Hello, Hades."
