Thomas nodded quickly. "I-is that okay?" he asked, and was relieved when Hermes nodded.
"Of course it's fine. We're not going anywhere." He smiled fondly at Kat then and he reached out to hug her again.
"Thank you," Thomas said and he meant it. "It means a great deal to me that you would offer." He returned to the kitchen to finish off the gyros, still feeling a little overwhelmed, but grateful that Kat had helped him out there.
He finally returned, carrying flatbread, chicken, and a bunch of fillings for gyros. There was tzatziki sauce and hot sauce as well. "Help yourself," he said, taking a seat. "And there's more if you need it."
