Jamie would have facepalmed, if both of his hands weren't occupied. "And the time will just give him the opportunity to think of some more," he added.
He smiled at both of them. "Thanks, you guys," he said. "That really means a lot."
Chris wheeled his chair back then, standing up and removing his gloves. "All done," he said. "What do you think?"
Jamie looked down at him arm, and a happy grin broke out over his face. "It's perfect," he said. "Looks exactly how I wanted it, thank you so much."
Chris grinned. "That's what I like to hear," he said. He covered Jamie's arm with a bandage. "Leave that on for at least two hours," he said. "Once you take it off, wash it with warm water and antibacterial soap. Don't go swimming or take a bath for two weeks, showering is fine. You should use some ointment on it for 4 or 5 days, then you can switch to lotion. The desk can give you a pamphlet with all this in it, in case you forget."
Jamie got up from the chair and shook Chris' hand. "Thanks again," he said.
"You're welcome," Chris told him. "You guys have a great day."
Jamie went up to the front desk and paid, tucking the sheet they gave him into his pocket. "You guys hungry?" he asked. "I could go for a burger, or something."
