She chuckled in the kiss and enjoyed how he tangled their legs together. She smiled softly glad that Greed saw and appreciated these little things. Sometimes it was hard to let him do his Sin thing but it wasn’t Zoe’s place to stop him. She loved him and the bad was part of the good. She didn’t comment about Wrath. That was his family and she wasn’t that deep in that she could throw out her opinions on it without being asked. “You’re a good brother.” she actually was surprised and loved how much he loved his family, despite them being literally from hell. “You’re.. tenacious. Persistent. Clever. Resourceful. You don’t give up. You don’t let me give up. You’re always willing to communicate about problems. You’re adventurous. You have a unique view of the world. You’re smart. You’re kinda hilarious. You make me smile.. even when I don’t want to.” she smiled then as if to prove her point, “How many is that?” she knew he was definitely counting. _________________
“You’re at fifteen. Keep going...” He smiled with all lip, no teeth. It was definitely a boost to the ego. No Sin no matter which one could argue with an ego boost. “You’ve got a ways to go before reaching three thousand.” He contemplated her answers though, how easily she topped them all off as good qualities. His eyes were still on her batman logo, it had even started to flap it’s wings in his head. “Those are all good things...” _________________
“No way, you need to catch up. And it’s 100!” she jabbed him lightly. She demurred a bit when he said they were all good things. She didn’t know if he thought that was a bad thing but she shook her head, “Not necessarily. They’re just qualities. It’s your choice what you use them for.” being clever and tricking someone out of money, stealing babies, being persistent in getting what he wanted no matter what the cost... none of those things would be considered ‘good’. True, some things she’d mentioned were more on the side of good like willing to communicate, but most of them were very gray things. _________________
She was getting tougher the longer she spent with him. Sin or human he forced her to toughen up. Even if it was some of her emotional, squishy bits that he liked about her too. Greed no matter how potent or impotent was rubbing off on her with what little of him he could find in her.
Neither of them had tapped into the physical qualities yet, it seemed those were further down the list. “You let me be a man.” He’d noticed the differences especially when he’d seen her after Lust just how different the two women treated him. Lust might be a lover, a sister, but she most often treated him like a child. Most of the sins did (give or take Wrath on a good day). He had worn that guise well, because all of them were dumbed down from realizing how powerful he really could be. With Zoe she urged those things to come out that made him more than a child. _________________
She was surprised by his next reason. And it warmed her to hear his reasons and know that her looks were not at the top of his list. “You are a man..” she said a little confused but gave him another kiss. Did he mean that she treated him like a person instead of a Sin? “And that’s only three.. or four.” she wasn’t counting like he was. _________________
“See but many only see what they want,” he shook his finger, poking her button nose to watch it squish against the soft impact. “Most of them want to see the little boy.” She was different in a good way. “Maybe that’s because you’re human. Lust sees the child. Other women see the sex toy. You...see something else.” Even if he didn’t put on a mask for her. She had pulled out the Greed that he never knew was there. “You see me.” The image was a reflection. Always a reflection of what the person wanted to see.
