Who: Charles, Piper, Lena, Thomas and a partridge in a pear tree What: Date! When: Thursday night Where: Restaurant...place
It had taken Piper a bit of co-ordinating (and maybe ducking out of her last class half an hour early, shh) to get home in time to get ready for the evening out. As soon as she walked in the door, she'd thrown her stuff in her room and jumped in the shower, washing the faint odor of stale smoke out of her hair. Said hair was then attacked with a comb, a hair dryer, and a curling iron after she'd gotten out.
Slipping into her dress and toeing on her shoes (or trying to, anyway), she stumbled out of her room, pulling the second shoe on while trying not to trip and break her neck or ankle. Her coat was hanging in the hallway, because seriously, this chill in April was ridiculous. Her phone and a few other essentials went into her purse, and she was finally ready to go.
"Charles!" she called. "I think my shenanigans are finally done, I am so sorry it took my forever."
