It wasn't mummifying, nor weighing someone's heart, but it was still preparing a body for it's last journey, and that pleased him. He liked the work, and the city was great. He'd only just arrived and he knew he had to go see his family soon, but duty came first and he knew they'd understand that. And he was still busy settling in.
Right now it was just him and the body, as it was late, and he worked quietly and without barely pausing. By now, it was routine to do all this. He only raised his eyes when he felt something else. For a moment he assumed it was the Greek he worked with but it felt different. He turned to look at the being, and he tilted his head. Of all the appearances, this one wasn't one he'd imagined.
He smiled then and gave a polite nod. "Evening. Coffee?" He motioned to the pot nearby. It was only polite to offer this being something.
