Jane wasn't so sure she could believe that, considering their history. But it didn't really bother her. She felt he said that to please her, to keep her around. It wasn't a horrible thing so she didn't mind really.
"Yes, I'd love some tea," she said, stepping inside. She walked to the kitchen and pulled off her jacket, setting it on the chair she usually sat in when she came over. She considered him a moment, wondering if she should tell him now or wait. Either way, he should know.
