"You have a point," she agreed. "But I'm...I'm good now, it should be fine."
She rose and headed back toward her room. Since it was just her and Victor, she'd commandeered one of the spare bedrooms, pushing everything aside to create a large open space. The walls were red and she really liked that, made her feel a little warmer, even though she knew it was purely psychological. "It's all cleared out, I used one of the bedrooms."
She lit a jasmine candle, as she did every time she meditated, and took a seat on the floor, legs crossed comfortably beneath her. She took a deep breath in through her nose and out through her mouth.
