Jamie just shrugged again. The topic of his mother didn't come up a lot, he didn't have a lot of experience talking about her. "That's usually my thought, too," he said quietly.
He perked up a bit at the mention of the Hobbit movie. "I really enjoyed it" he answered enthusiastically. "And yeah, The Hobbit's been a favorite of mine since I was a kid."
"Touche," he replied. "Instead of fleeing for his life, he tries to save the Arkenstone. Now, I like shiny things as much as the next guy, but not at the cost of my life. And yeah, if you think about it, dragons live for ages, right? Who's to say they didn't find a ruined city somewhere and take what they could carry? It's an interesting line of thought."
