"I'll attempt to withold my tears," Higher Education said dryly, following 4chan into his bedroom. To say that he was a little anxious as to what this apparent 'awesome' thing was would be, perhaps, a little much - it wouldn't be overstepping to say that the psychopomp was somewhat uncomfortable with not knowing what exactly awaited him, though. He never did like not knowing what was going on.
Ugh, two uses of the negative in one sentence. Technically, gramatically correct; syntax, however, dictated that that never happen again...as it just had. "That that," honestly? It was such an awkward phrase to use in a sentence. "[...]dictated that such things never happen again." would have been much better.
"So what exactly am I about to bear witness to?" Hopefully it wouldn't be anatomically-correct.
