"Augh," he smacked his head into the back of her couch. "I should have known they'd jump on that." He set Ella on the couch between them before accepting the glass.
"Good, you look happy" he said, taking a sip. "And I should have figured it was already a word."
He stuck his tongue out at her again. "You know what they say...good things come to those who wait." He shrugged. "You know I'm not terribly good at the whole 'relationships and feelings' thing. He's...a lot like me. He's a soldier who can't fight anymore, stuck here and not listened to." He shrugged. "I just want to see where it goes, I guess."
