Anne was glad to hear the knock on the door, even if she was nervous. She wasn't one to get nervous a lot of the time but this, this was something that could easily change her life for the worse or for the better. She did hope it was the latter because despite that all that happened back at Henry's court, she did want to be a mother and she did want to get to know her daughter. If you had asked her back then she said she would have children to ensure her place in society, by the King's side, not because she wanted them for herself. As the years progressed and as she grew and matured into the person she was today. Today, while she was still just as ambitious as she was in her past life, she was nowhere near as manipulative - though she wasn't against using people to get what she wanted. Most of all she wasn't willing to be used by other people and was a lot less trusting of them. Men that was, women she was alright with - for the most part. Perhaps her job didn't help but she liked her job and well nothing could be perfect in the world they just had to try their hardest.
Finally, hearing a knock on the front door, she took a deep breathe before going to answer it. "Elizabeth," she said greeting the other woman. She could definitely see her daughter in her, even if she last saw her at the age of two. She could see her father in her too which was slightly discomforting but she could see a lot of the Boleyn's too which was good. "Come in, how are you?" she asked standing back to let her in.
