There was just the smallest bit of pride there, and his smile grew. "Thank you. That's quite something." He had to consciously keep his accent a little less but now felt no need for it. "Especially from you, considering." George was going to have a hayday, he knew it. "I studied your tactics when I was younger. It was amazing. You earn every bit of it" He'd worked to live up to his own name, and he knew Alexander had done the same. Internally however, he was bouncing.
"They never do though. Modern combat is different but not enough you can't adjust. But I can go on for that for the rest of the day. If the Colonel brought you, he knows who you are. We'll probably have to work together." Not, necessarily, a bad thing.
He motioned Alexander along to the office not far from his own. He'd suspected he'd be getting someone on his level to be his co-worker ever since they'd cleared it and had imagined it'd be an immortal. He was pleased it was this man, rather then any other. Alexander knew what he was on about. "Been in the city long?"
