He nodded and flew away to another place. It looked empty and without purpose but Lucifer knew to be here. He waited for Uriel and titled his head. He seemed to be looking for something and then smiled when he felt the last remnants of a star that had died.
He collected all that and let it weave around him and turned to see Uriel. He motioned Uriel to stand back a bit as the energies swirled around him. He let all the gasses clump together, then with a bit of a push and some power it collapsed until the star was born in bright sparks.
With gentle cooing words he waited until the ball of it could swirl on it's on and take in the fuel it needed. It was a process that took millennia. It was a process that took no time at all. He waved his brother closer now. "See brother this is why we do not mourn stars. In their deaths they make sure others are created. It is why their mourning songs sound sad and happy. They make way for the new ones." He flew out of the center of the star so it could work on it's own. "Beautiful, isn't it? Father, at work."
