Despite her grumbling, Clio actually liked Christmas. It was a holiday that had incorporated a lot of trends from other holidays, and while she didn't quite celebrate the meaning most people gave to it, she still loved the holiday. She got to decorate, and spoil her family.
She'd already done so for Ella, and despite only being one her daughter seemed very enraptured by the presents. She was only mildly amused that both daughter and tiny feline found the wrapping paper more amusing then the actual toys. But they were having fun and it was all that mattered.
She knew she was a little nervous. This holiday was the first she'd spend with Patrick as more then just friends. She wasn't sure why she was nervous. Not much had changed between them, save she didn't have to deny her own feelings anymore. She'd told him to come right in, which meant she could focus on keeping dinner warm and watching Ella.
