She returned the shrug, "I don't know," she gave to her sister, "but I can't keep not saying anything. Also, painfully obvious." She sighed and glanced to Victor, "I'm about to really try."
She ran her hand through her hair and took a long breath. "The world we live in, that we see every day, isn't the only thing. There's things in the cracks. Specifically, beings that people worshiped and at times still worship. I know it sounds really crazy." She bit at her lip as she tried finding more words. "I think your partner is one of them. I think he's something huge and unfathomable, something we can only grasp at the surface. Which is why he's not good at being human." She lowered her hands and sighed, "I think he's not even human to begin with. I think his very name tells us all what he is."
