In retrospect, it probably did sound crazy. But she knew of a world beyond the one they saw every day, and this was one where wings weren't exactly uncommon. There were a lot of creatures with them, and she'd always suspected Victor was closer to the truth then he realized.
And now she had to open that door, because she wouldn't get another time, and she was tired of lying. He meant a great deal to her.
Smiling she shook her head, "no. Not crazy. And you weren't seeing things." It still didn't give her any words on how to make this sound less inane. Even she felt it was insane on good days and she'd known for years. "What's his name? Last name?" Maybe that would give her a clue on how to find a way to go about this. From what little she'd learned sometimes last names gave a hint. Not always, but sometimes.
