For most of those days, she'd been a wreck. The last day of her finals she'd wished to catch up on sleep, and she'd almost managed. Then that phonecall had come and she'd lost all luster and sleepiness, instead focusing on worrying herself silly.
That had only increased when she'd heard Victor's name on the news. Now it was only worse. Two people she cared for very much in a situation that she knew couldn't end well. She'd ended calling both her mother and Cordy and had spend most of the time with them. It was one of the few times she broke down, the stress too much and just flowing with the rest of her family.
When they'd called them to let them know her sister was alright, she'd all but run to the hospital. She hadn't heard anything of Victor and kept imagining the worst. She was sure she wasn't willing to just lose the guy she knew was meaning more and more to her. This had put that in clear perspective.
She moved into the room, her eyes first finding her sister. "Mir.." she broke off when she saw Victor who looked a hell of a lot worse, and she stood still. She wasn't sure who to go for first. Priorities warred and it felt safer to stand in the room for a moment., feeling stunned and speechless.
