He sat against the headboard of his black leather covered bed. The littlest of movements made the comforter groan as if it were irritated with the constant shuffle of body heat. Greed curled his fingers around a joint, puffing smoke in and out to clear his head. There was a lot of head space open for business since Satan had gutted it and Lust pieced it back together. Now he was Lustless and no one to warm his bed. Zoe was being very bad ex-girlfriend. Clipping the joint between his lips he flipped around his phone for the picture she'd put on it weeks ago to set it up on nightstand beside him. Those large brown doe eyes looked back at him cheerily. Every advance she turned down so he came back at her ten times harder. He was determined Kansas was the answer all. He couldn't pinpoint anymore what it was about her he wanted, so he bargained with himself it was her body. It had to be right?
The brunette beside him shuffled in the bed, making it bounce as she displayed her birthday suit. Greed huffed and rolled his eyes kicking at her as she started to paw over him. "Ugh." He shoved her off the side where she collapsed onto the floor with a thud. She groaned and mumbled curses under her breath as Greed got up to put on his clothes not satisfied at all. He was still hankering for something else. Slipping on his boxers and a pair of jeans he didn't even help the girl crawl to her feet.
"Thanks asshole!" she yelled pulling her dress from the floor to slip in. She found one shoe but not the other. "Where's my shoe?" She hurled the one she did have at his head.
"Hey, hey," he threw out his hand to block the object. "Not the face." The unnamed girl grumbled some more, flipping her long hair out of her face as she stomped around the room. She held her hand out for the one shoe at least but he'd already clamped down on it. "Nu-uh" He stuffed the toe of the shoe in his jean pocket and shoved her towards the door out into the living room. Those were some expensive shoes, he wasn't going to let them go home in them. Lust might like the present when she came out of her Satan coma.
"You are not sending me out barefoot in the cold!" Seriously this guy was a nutjob. She shoved him in the chest. "I have bruises all over me from you!" She pointed to her arms and her legs. They guy had an iron grip. She was pretty sure he'd clung to her harder than the sides of the bed. It was a wonder she could even walk at all. "I can do anything I damn well please!" He opened the door wide and motioned for her to take a leap. It was then that his eyes went wide. He had to hold back his laughter. Lightening had struck and he had a new plan.
A few blocks down the road the girl would notice she didn't even have a phone to call for a cab because Greed had done more than pocketed her for the night. That was the last time she went home with anyone who fed her some sob story. "JERK!" she yelled at open air. The nerve. She'd even believed him when he said he'd lost his sister to cancer. What an idiot!
Greed was practically doing a dance inside, kissing the shoe once he'd pulled it out of his pocket and tossed it onto the bed. The girl might have been a disappointment but she gave him the best idea! After Wrath had steered him free of his kidnapping ploy Greed had to find a new way to get Zoe to Kansas. It was genius! Immediately he grabbed his phone looking around on the internet for anyone that could fit the bill while sliding on a t-shirt over his head. There had to be some sketchy people living in his neighborhood. He could pay them off to do the dirty work so he could fly in like a knight in shining armor. He sniffed his shirt...mmm...maybe after he changed his shirt. He couldn't swoop in smelling of cheap perfume.
