His finger rubbed the ring on hers. He'd pocket that later. "This is..." he looked around the streets suddenly turned empty. Still clean and bright but far too empty for a busting city. Did everyone have the day off? "Zoe go home," he pleaded with her, another figure not far behind lurking in their footsteps. When Chance turned around he faced himself. His clothes were simple. Jeans and a plaid shirt, a mop of blonde hair on his head with a little scruff around his chin. The Greed that stared him back in the face was cleanly groomed, hair slicked back with the always fashionable suit and expensive ties. Even his cuff links glimmered with gold. He walked up to Zoe, petting her head like a cat. "She's so pretty. Sweet." He kissed her cheek, resting his hands on her shoulders while Chance looked in anger.
"Don't touch her!"
Greed's hands slid up her her soft neck with a laugh. "You can't have her Chance, because you will always destroy the things you want the most."
Zoe's eyes started to well up with tears, the same way Josie had looked back at him with love, fear and torture. He held out his hand to have her take it. Away from Greed, to the more human side of himself that longed for everything she offered. "Come here," he pleaded.
