WHO: Eris & OPEN to all
WHEN: Saturday, late afternoon
WHERE: Ate & Moros' wedding reception
WHAT: How do you like them apples? AKA: Eris is why we can't have nice things
One upon a time, Peleus and Thetis had had a wedding. And, that same once upon a time, Eris had no been invited. Everyone else have been invited but, apparently, Eris' own invite must have gotten lost in the mail. She could hardly be blamed for taking it so badly.
But this wedding Eris was attending. The bride - over by the drinks table and fawning over someone who wasn't her new husband - was said by some to be Eris' daughter. Eris could see a resemblance but family wasn't her thing. She liked Ares but that was about it.
No, family wasn't any real fun. Eris had better forms of fun and in this room full of Greek gods she was about to unleash it.
All it took for Eris to produce one of her apples was a flick of the wrist and then there it sat in her hand, golden and irresistible. The apples were still powerful things, things that people fought and killed to possess and to keep, things that made everyone who held them a little more chaotic, a little more dangerous, a little more unpredictable. In fact, even Eris herself couldn't quite predict what those in possession of her little gifts would do or how, exactly, it was effect them. Everyone was a little different and that was half the fun.
The Apples of Discord destroyed lives and brought down kingdoms, and now Eris tossed three of them into the crowd - one towards the dancefloor, one towards the door, and one towards the drinks table.
Grinning, Eris stepped back to watch the magic happen.
