Life for Tama since their unfortunate parting hadn't been difficult, but it also wasn't easy. Although she still practically wallowed in self-pity and sorrow she still had to survive. So she continued on with stealing food, or else convincing a good-looking mortal out of money. Flirting didn't come as easily as before and she hated herself for it. Why was she letting this get her down? She had lost lovers before. Either to death or breakups or running away when they discovered what she was.
She could always be found in the park, curled up under a tree or in the bushes snoozing soundly as children played in the distance. Lately she hadn't felt much like getting too close. She just didn't feel like being displayed in any form unless she was hungry.
Right now she sat against a large tree, slowly eating the gyro she had won by flirting with a shy college boy just minutes earlier. She had given him a fake number, having no intentions of ever calling or seeking him out. She didn't even care to listen to things around her, she just stared off as she took slow bite after slow bite. Her thoughts were continuously on him. She just couldn't get him out of her head.
