Ever since Andromache's panic attack she had had a sense of foreboding. It never ceased to stop and it only made her more anxious the more she thought of it. If it was indeed what (or who) she believed it to be then she was ready to hightail it out of there and get as far from New York as possible. Her instincts were still topnotch and she was ready to bet a lot of money that she was right.
When she arrived at school that morning she received a new class list, immediately wondering how much extra credit she would have to hand out to this Kain Vogel. Already her mind was active with ideas. She couldn't give too much work but that didn't mean she wouldn't hand out extra just because there were only a few weeks left in the semester. He would likely have to make up for a lot of work in the Spring.
But when she arrived at her classroom she was hit even harder with such a deep sense of dread that she almost fell back. Whatever had been bothering her was there, in her classroom. Waiting for her.
She looked warily at the class, recognizing all the faces save the one that was turned away from her. Setting her bag on the floor next to her desk she took out her new list. "Everyone please sit," she said, even though only the new student was the only one standing at that point. She then called off the named until reaching the very last, Vogel.
