OH SHIT, let's try NOT to have Merlin flirting with Antonio :O
She obviously brightened at the mention of St Joesph. "A saint of pilots? Oh mate, I've gotta pack my bags and go stay with him instead." She stood up, making as though rushing off to pack. Then she laughed and sat back down, reaching for her wine.
Had this not been just months after their break up, Natalie would have been on about how great the Red Baron was and all the things he'd done. But it was too raw and he wasn't a hero to her right now. So she just smiled and nodded, instead saying. "I love London. I miss it a lot. But I have to admit," she added, leaning in towards him as though to keep it a secret, her voice low: "Padua's far more beautiful."
Natalie noted, this close to Antonio, that he smelled really good. For a moment she thought of that before sitting back again, trying to pretend she hadn't just considered a thing she had very much considered. He was a Saint!
"You're a true Renaissance man with all those languages," Natalie smiled, turning her glass in hand and taking another sip. "Although it sounds like it might be leading you close to the loony bin."
