He should have done this ages ago. Clearly, it smoothed over the transition a little easier then just letting her wallow for the few weeks she spend hiding in his house. He understood it, but would rather have him truly be with her sooner. He only had a few short months to enjoy this.
Then again, even though he had to remain separate from her, there was nothing saying he couldn't take her on outings. He'd tolerate the harsh sunlight for her sake.

Shored up the borders between our realm and the Christians. Demons kept slipping in." He didn't tolerate their presence, even if the two realms tended to overlap in certain areas.
He tilted his head, figuring she may like this. "Charon is...moody. I think he needs a someone to cheer him up. Considering my romantic skills aren't exactly great, I figured I'd let you tackle this." Maybe she'd like playing matchmaker.
