"This is gross as hell," George moaned, because it needed to be said. He flattened out the tarp and dragged it forward until it was tucked underneath Michael's shoes.
"Okay, just-oh jeez, that's a maggot, okay, just lift him and try to keep all his parts there, and I'll pull this underneath him."
It took some work, and several pauses. It took a great amount of care and precision. It took several instances of stopping to avoid throwing up. But they managed to get Michael's body on the tarp, mostly intact.
