. Maybe she'd been partially responsible. She who had never aged, but had stood at his side regardless.
She nodded but didn't comment on his play on words or his lack of free will. They'd all had to do things they did not wish to.
"Then I am wrong. I did walk this earth. I walked it with mortals. It is so strange. I was both up there and down here. And waiting is our greatest gift. If one can endure." She sighed at the last comment, "no and I do not think I will either. I am not hers anymore."
