Where: Skoll's place

Sol had lost count of how many days she had been there. She had gotten so used to being around Skoll and being in his apartment that it had become natural to her. It shouldn't have been that way but she couldn't help it. Whatever it was that was happening between them was strange and she couldn't really explain to herself, so how could she explain to anyone else? There had always been an attachment between them, but it had become different. And the times they were with each other were confusing enough for the poor goddess. She didn't know what the others would think if they ever found out about her relationship with Skoll. She hadn't been in contact with any of them in ages now and she honestly didn't think she owed any of them an explanation. It was her life. She had not yet been devoured. And she most certainly wasn't pregnant.
But every single day she stared longingly out the window. She positioned herself so that the sun shown on her, soaking in its warmth and brightness. She really wanted to be outside. That's where she truly belonged.
As always, she sat where the sun shone most, literally hanging out the window to get closer. At least Skoll had come to trust her enough not to run anymore. Well, run away and never come back sort of running. She still didn't appreciate not being trusted enough to go outside. Opening windows was entirely different. She sighed and rested her head on her arms as she jealously watched the people outside. It wasn't fair. She should be out there walking around. Next time Skoll came back she would demand to go outside and walk around because her legs hurt from being inside all the time.
Just as she was thinking this she heard the door open and she sat up to look. She jumped up and spoke as she went, though it was much more conversational now than when she demanded being set free. "I am tired of being inside. Please, let's go out." When she realized she was speaking to Hati she stopped dead and stared like a deer in headlights. She wasn't sure if Hati knew she had been staying there but it still didn't make her fear go away. Skoll she had gotten used to. Hati was an entirely different story. A wolf would always be a wolf.
