Ares had enjoyed his night out with his sons. The Erotes weren't much like him, but still his and in his own way he tried. It had ended with a call to Aphrodite, and he knew every cop by name by now, but he considered that a sign of a good time.
It wasn't fun until he could add new things to his record.
When he came back to his building he could feel Eris all over it. She was the other side to his coin, someone he was closer to then even Aphrodite, and it made him grin.
Maybe he could actually have some fun now. He took the stairs two at a time and wasn't even surprised at how she'd entered his home. He had nothing to steal, and even if he did the mortals around here knew far better then to try and rob him.
When he found her he was still smiling, although it lessened when he saw she had his beer. "Last can you know. And does it kill you to pick up a phone. I'd have let you in. New locks are a pain." It didn't stop him from going to slug her, but that was Ares-speak for 'hi, I missed you'.
