"I'm glad you didn't," Miranda had to admit, wrinkling up her nose a little. "He would have definitely killed them and while they might be horrible people... I don't like the idea of us basically putting out hits on people." It was a little scary sometimes to truly think on what their family was. Miranda knew her grandfather only as a kind if slightly strange man, but she wasn't an idiot. She knew his myths inside out and knew what they saw and loved was only a small part of him. Those other parts were dark and unsettling. But since Miranda had never had to see them, she'd never truly had to face them.
"Hey," Miranda said with a smile, wanting to cheer Kat up. "We might even end up working together. We can slack off in the back room and tease Hypnos. He's great fun."
