WHO: Haydn and Beethoven
WHAT: A teacher visiting his student
WHEN: Wednesday afternoon
WHERE: Beethoven's place
The moment he had heard his old student was in the city as well, Haydn made a mental note to go visit him. He was busy with the symphony orchestra at the moment and reconnecting with Mozart was also taking up some time. When he finally had an afternoon free, he texted Euterpe and managed to look up Beethoven's new place.
The pair of them had had a healthy rivalry and Hadyn thought that his student had sometimes seen his advice as coming from a place of jealousy instead of guidance. He still loved and respected the man and he hoped that was still mutual. Also he had never really thanked Beethoven for the wonderful farewell concert the man had conducted way back in Vienna. He had been too sick to stay for the entire thing, but it had meant so much to an old man.
Haydn rang the doorbell of the apartment and then he wondered how it alerted someone who couldn't hear to a presence at the door. Did it flash a light or something? He hoped his limited knowledge of ASL would help him communicate with Beethoven in a way the man didn't find too frustrating.
