WHO: War & George WHEN: Monday night WHERE: War's place and then who knows WHAT: Breaking New York City? WARNINGS: I'm guessing violence
War liked hanging out with Saint George. He was her saint and much more interesting than most of them. How was War supposed to get along with people who were all blah blah help others blah blah give to the poor? That just wasn't War's style. Sure she helped others - by making wars to liberate them and lower the population! Not that she got to make any wars around here. In America she was out of her element and had to cling onto stupid not-war things and pretend they were hers. Gang wars worked. Gang warfare was something she figured technically belonged to her and so she'd take it.
Which is why War's current cheap and run-down house was located in one of the most crime-ridden areas of the Bronx, on a block that was quickly becoming infamous for gang violence - which had been happening a little before War even moved there, so she wasn't entirely to blame for it. War liked it. The frequent sound of gunfire and shouting outside her window made her feel at home.
In the evening she opened her door and left it wide open as she waited for George, sitting up on the kitchen counter watching TV with a beer in her hand.
