"You mean in between playing the good wife, and the dutiful daughter, and trying not to punch someone?" she asked dryly. She leaned forward, resting her head in her hands. "Nobody said it was easy, no one ever said it would be this hard," she sang under her breath. She tucked the herbs into her pocket. "Thank you."
Rhode looked up as Aphrodite entered, too tired and sore and emotionally drained to feel too guilty about having Hecate there. "I know, I guess I just forgot in the rush to get out of that place and try not to bleed to death. I mean, Uncle Hades is alright, and everything, but I really don't want to visit the Underworld again anytime soon."
